Pilots as one whose lost at least 5 planes (FMS P51 twice, FMS F4U twice, LX F22 twice, and BlitzRC 1600mm P51 once) in the ocean due to some type of signal loss I can tell you this simple idea may save your plane!! My wire leads and extensions always seem to lose a wire or one breaks at the connection point where you plug into the Rx, especially the satellite antenna, which will usually cause a brown out or loss of signal. I simply coated the wires with Liquid Tape, so they are secured to the plastic connector. This prevents the wires from bending and breaking at least at this area. Wish I had thought of this last year....
